Physician wellness has become the focus of intense study given epidemic rates of burnout and dissatisfaction over the past two decades. This symposium will outline the major risk factors for early work stoppage in surgeons and review strategies to mitigate it. Optimal strategies to reduce work-related physical, mental, moral, and emotional injury will be reviewed.
