Recognize several techniques to manage pelvic bleeding, anastamotic disruption, trocar injuries, and stapler malfunctions.
Evaluate when to persist, when to consider damage control, and when to ask for assistance in the setting of intraoperative complications.
Verify that intraoperative complications are ubiquitous and approaching them safely is key.
