The multidisciplinary management of inflammatory bowel disease continues to evolve. This symposium aims to provide updates and strategies in the management of complex inflammatory bowel disease. Topics will include pouch complications, fistulizing perineal Crohn's Disease, surgical techniques for ileocolic anastomoses in the setting of Crohn's Disease, and treatment of IBD-associated dysplasia.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Discuss multimodality treatment options for the management of fistulizing perineal Crohn's disease and IBD-associated dysplasia.
Describe how to avoid, recognize, and manage ileoanal pouch complications and tips for how to salvage the pouch.
Compare surgical techniques for creating an anastomosis in the setting of ileocolic Crohn's Disease and review the most recent literature.
