Dr. James W. Ogilvie Jr. MD, MS, FACS, FASCRS is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Michigan State University-affiliated hospitals and the endowed director of colorectal research at Corewell Health/Ferguson Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His professional interests include rectal prolapse and functional disease. Originally from Minneapolis, MN he attended medical school and residency at the University of Minnesota. For colorectal fellowship he attended the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in Australia. He and his family have now settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but still dream of returning to the Sunshine Coast.
