Dr. Brandon C. Chapman (MD, MS) is a Colorectal Surgeon at AdventHealth Parker in Colorado. Dr. Chapman obtained his Bachelor of Science at Colorado State University and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. He graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors and received The Charles and Sylvia Schectman Prize for Excellence in Clinical Care. Dr. Chapman completed his general surgery residency at the University of Colorado and was awarded The J. Cuthbert Owens Award for Excellence in Teaching and Patient Care. Additionally, he completed a 2-year surgical research fellowship in clinical outcomes and obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Science at the University of Colorado Denver. He completed his colorectal fellowship at the University of Tennessee. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at multiple national meetings across the country. His research interests focused on surgical outcomes and quality improvement, laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, and colorectal cancer. He is an active participant in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) and currently serves on the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and the Young Surgeons Committee. Dr. Chapman is married to his wife, Lisa, and they have three girls, Gracie, Elly, and Emmy.
