Nader Francis is a widely respected colorectal surgeon expert. He is committed to Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) and enhanced recovery and continues to improve patient experience through an excellent relationship with the whole multi-disciplinary team. In addition to fostering these locally, Nader has been working to promote safe adoption of MIS and enhanced recovery programmes through his educational role in the national and international training programmes and the ERAS UK, which he founded in 2010.
Nader is a passionate teacher/ educator and is a recognised expert trainer and educational lead in the fields of colorectal surgery, MIS and peri-operative care. Nader has also a keen research interest in education, colorectal cancer and peri-operative care and he presents and publishes widely in those fields. His educational expertise lies around designing, delivering and assessment of educational curricula. Nader is currently the Director of Training at the Griffin Institute in 2019, leading the development of MIS/ Robotic training centre in London.
