Dr. Jeremy Balch is a fifth year resident in the Department of Surery at the University of Florida. He also currently pursuing a PhD through the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics during his research years, with a thesis focused on clinical large language models as they apply to surgery as well as the use of AI in quality improvement. He is interested in pursuing a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery following completion of his training. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his undergraduate degree at Whitman College.
