Lisa Manzanete is a fourth year medical and MPH student at Loma Linda University. She graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Human Biology with a concentration in Infectious Disease. She is passionate about health equity and works to promote student cultural competency development at LLUSM through Latinidad, a student club that organizes Spanish language curriculum and cultural competency workshops focused on serving the Latino patient population. Her career aspirations include being a hospitalist at a county hospital and working to improve hospital care for immigrant populations.
