My name is Nicholas Bartschat, MD and I am a general surgery resident at the University of Iowa. I am originally from Urbandale, Iowa, and studied biochemistry during my undergraduate studies at Creighton University before starting medical school at the Roy Carver College of Medicine. Treating cancer surgically is what I find most rewarding.
