I completed my medical school in India at Bhaskar Medical College. As a student, while doing rotations in the United States, I was drawn towards Colorectal Surgery as it included a combination of minimally invasive and open procedures, anorectal procedures, and colonoscopes. I like the variety of pathology involved like oncology, IBD, fistulas, etc. This interest was reinforced during my residency training. This is a specialty I see myself enjoying practicing. Looking forward to being a part of the innovations and advancements in the field of colorectal surgery.
