Dr. Anastasiya Shchatsko is a Chief Resident in General Surgery residency at Central Michigan University. She is passionate about colorectal surgery, rectal cancer treatment, and excited to continue her education in the AdventHealth Colorectal Surgery Fellowship Program in Orlando in 2024. She has prior publications on the topics of neoadjuvant therapy and the robotic approach for locally advanced colon cancer, as well as resident education. Her current projects include researching national trends in total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) and immunotherapy use for rectal cancer, developing a robotic curriculum for residents, and evaluating residents' skills on a model with video-based feedback.
