Kerri Ohman, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her undergraduate as well as medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She then completed her general surgery training and colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. She is interested in the full spectrum of benign and malignant colon and rectal diseases. She is an Associate Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program and has several other roles in both undergraduate and graduate medical education, including serving as the Director for the Health Systems Sciences curriculum for the medical school. She also involved in surgical education research and quality improvement and patient safety. She is an Examination Consultant for the American Board of Surgery General Surgery In-Training Examination and is the ACS Young Fellows Association Liason Representative to the National Accreditation Council on Rectal Cancer – Accreditation Committee. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
