Maseray S. Kamara, MD is the Colon and Rectal Surgery fellow at Trinity Health Ann Arbor/University of Michigan. She attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed general surgery residcency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. An avid writer, her works have been featured on KevinMD, In-Training Magazine, and the AMA Journal of Ethics. She is passionate about public health and patient education and aims to use medical journalism to promote health literacy and empower patients to understand diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus.
