Dr. Sowmya Sharma is a fourth year general surgery resident at Lahey Clinic. She recieved her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, after which she worked in Ireland for a year as an intern prior to moving to the United States for residency. She is interested in colon and rectum surgery following completion of residency.
