My name is Georgios Kyriakopoulos. I finished Medical School and completed my General Surgery Residency in Athens, Greece where I have also completed my MSc and PhD, investigating into Hepatic Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in rat models. Then, I spent 5 years in the Colorectal and Intestinal Faillure Unit of Salford Royal Hospital (NHS-England). Since July 2023, i am one of the International Colorectal Surgery Fellows in Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN).
