Christine C. Jensen, MD MPH, is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota and a partner in Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her undergraduate, MD and MPH degrees from the University of Washington and completed General Surgery residency training there. She completed her Colorectal Surgery fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Jensen participates in the training of five colorectal fellows per year. She is the Research Director for the Division of Colorectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota and is on the Editorial Board of Diseases of the Colon and Rectum. She is active in numerous committees and initiatives and is the Chief of Staff and Medical Director of Surgical Specialties at Mercy Hospital, part of Allina Health in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metro area.
