My name is Michael Froehlich, MD, a resident at Stony Brook University Hospital who will be pursuing Colorectal Surgery fellowship. I am currently a PGY3 working on completing my residency, as well as partaking in numerous research projects. In addition to creating an departmental robotic database for all colorectal surgeries performed using the surgical robot that was used for the project I am presenting here at ASCRS, I am also working on manuscripts utilizing the National Cancer Database (NCDB). My primary research interest is oncologic outcomes in those treated minimally-invasive techniques.
