Qizhi Liu studied Colorectal Surgery at the Second Military Medical University, Shanghai and graduated as Ph.D in 2013. He then joined the Department of Colorectal Surgery of Changhai Hospital under the guidance of famous domestic experts（Chuan-gang Fu）in colorectal surgery. He has given speeches at conferences (ASCRS) in the United States multiple times. He has published multiple SCI articles and led many clinical studies. In 2021, he joined Shanghai Fourth People's Hospital through talent introduction. He has conducted in-depth research on neoadjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy for low rectal cancer and has published many papers (under the guidance of famous expert-Rodrigo Oliva Perez). Qizhi Liu demonstrated a good work ethic and interpersonal skills. He can proficiently carry out laparoscopic radical resection of gastrointestinal cancer, especially deep research on NOSES surgery and anal organ preservation for low rectal cancer.
