Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Undergrad from Universidad de Puerto Rico and medical school in Universidad Central del Caribe. Followed by general surgery residency in Texas Tech in Lubbock. Currently doing a minimal invasive fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Mayo Clinic in Arizona with plans to pursue ACGME colon and rectal fellowship also at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
