Dr. Kamil Erözkan, MD, FACS, is a medical professional currently holding the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA, since February 2023. Born in 1989, Dr. Erözkan graduated from Celal Bayar University School of Medicine, Turkey, earning his MD in 2013. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Ege University Hospital, Turkey, from January 2014 to July 2019. Dr. Erözkan served as an observer at Yonsei University Gangnam Severance Hospital, South Korea, to enhance his skills in 2018.

Dr. Erözkan's professional journey includes roles as an attending surgeon at Ege University Hospital in Izmir and Mus State Hospital in Mus, Turkey. He pursued further clinical fellowship in surgical oncology at Ankara University Hospital from August 2021 to August 2023. Currently, Dr. Kamil Erözkan contributes as a Research Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on colorectal surgery.
