Casey Paterson is a PGY4 general surgery resident at Abington-Jefferson Health with a keen interest in colorectal surgery. Originally from Canada, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce at Queen's University but ultimately transitioned into medicine after years of volunteering at a major Toronto hospital. She had the opportunity to complete her medical school training in both London (UK) and Philadelphia, gaining exposure to two starkly different healthcare systems. Casey is thrilled to be applying for colorectal fellowship this upcoming Fall. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, hot yoga, and exploring local Pennsylvania breweries.
