Meghan Linz, DO is completing her second year of general surgery residency at Trinity Health Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan. She is originally from Ohio, where she studied at The Ohio State University and Ohio University for undergraduate and medical school respectively. Now in an adjacent but equally cold Midwestern state, she is enjoying her time growing as a learner, leader, and educator for others. Meghan takes pride in teaching medical students and younger residents the ropes of general surgery as well as being humbled by her own learning experiences. Her interest in colorectal surgery stems from her love for the variety of disease processes and cases as well as her interest in minimally invasive techniques. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog and has more recently had fun planning for her upcoming wedding.
