Dr. Katherine Lee, MD, MS is a colon and rectal surgery fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. She earned her medical degree and completed general surgery residency at UC San Diego. She is also one of the few surgeons who is fellowship-trained in palliative care. Dr. Lee's research interested include patient-centered outcomes in the treatment of colorectal diseases and the application of palliative care principles in the management of seriously ill surgical patients.
