Dr. Eric Haas attended University of Texas Medical School where his outstanding achievement was noted by induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following his General Surgery residency he went on to complete fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Haas specializes in robotic colorectal surgery and has pioneered the NICE procedure using natural office techniques. He serves as Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital and the Chief Quality Director of Colorectal Surgery for HCA Gulf Coast Division. He carries a professorship at the University of Houston College of Medicine and is the Program Director of Advanced Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery Program at the University of Texas McGovern School of Medicine.
