Dr. Amber Traugott, MD, FACS is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She leads the pelvic floor service line within the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She also serves as Associate Program Director for the surgery residency in the OSU Department of Surgery, and as medical student Clerkship Director for Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical approaches, surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders affecting bowel function, especially the management of low anterior resection syndrome and other functional sequelae of colorectal surgical diseases or treatments. Dr. Traugott completed her M.D. degree at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She completed general surgery residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO and colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. She is board certified in general surgery and colorectal surgery.
