Rebeccah Baucom, MD

Colorectal Surgeon
SWAT Surgical Associates and Joe Arrington Cancer Center
Lubbock

Dr. Baucom is a colorectal surgeon with SWAT Surgical Associates and Joe Arrington Cancer Center in Lubbock, TX. She is a native Texan, and attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Following medical school, she completed her general surgery residency and a 3-year clinical research fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She then returned to Dallas for fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center. In 2018, she joined the faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX where she was the first colorectal surgeon in the region. In 2023, she joined SWAT Surgical Associates and Joe Arrington Cancer Center, where she plays an integral role in the care of patients with rectal cancer, as well as colon and anal cancers. She enjoys a busy and broad-spectrum colorectal surgical practice.
