Adam Goode, M.D. is a fourth-year general surgery resident at Carilion Clinic and the Physician in Residence at Carilion Clinic Innovations, a young biodesign institute. He is the founder and CEO of Allis Innovations, a surgical instrument detection platform that leverages AI-powered computer vision to improve central sterile efficiency and the inventor of a 3D-manufactured personalized ostomy appliance. He plans to apply to colorectal surgery fellowship to develop expertise in inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer while pursing biodesign. Outside of medicine, he loves trail running with his dog Gus who makes occasional weekend rounds at the hospital as a certified therapy dog!
